What date does the ATO Small Business Super Clearing House close?

30 June 2026, which means if you're currently using it, you need a plan in place before then.

The ATO Small Business Super Clearing House (SBSCH) has been a free option for businesses with fewer than 20 employees or an annual turnover under $10 million. But it closes on 30 June 2026, ahead of payday super commencing.

This isn't just an administrative change, it's a prompt to move to a clearing house that's built for the payday super environment. The SBSCH was designed around the quarterly model. Payday super requires faster processing, better error handling, and tighter integration with your payroll software.

If you're currently relying on the SBSCH, June 2026 is your hard deadline. Setting up a new clearing house takes time, especially if you need to migrate employee and fund data,  so earlier is better.

Beam is an ATO-compliant clearing house that integrates directly with Microkeeper, making the transition straightforward.
